The Fungible Non-Fungible Pavilion is a project specifically focused on providing design and creative agency to the community. We want each designer's designs to be verifiable, meaning we know who designed it and that they own the digital representation of each design which they can transfer or potentially sell to create wealth. What this does for us as Architects is it creates a sustainable funding method in which each block calculates labor, material and all miscellaneous costs associated meaning the community designs and funds the pavilion without the necessary single stakeholder. This undoubtedly challenges the traditional notion of funding and community aided design within Architecture to create a Pavilion which is directly representative of the community at large.
> Minting in our case means, creating a new block, and recording that information onto the blockchain. Tezos blockchain that fee is low and uses the equivalent to energy needed to post one tweet.
Designers design the bricks for the pavilion with the Fungible Non Fungible app, once all bricks are minted those will be organised by ML agents to determine the overall Architecture which will be constructed. To own a digital block of the pavilion:
visit Non Fungible Pavilion App
Use the step-by-step instructions to design a block ‘Mint’ that block on the website (again using the on screen instructions)
Anyone. Simply get a Tezos wallet and a few Tezos added in, to get involved. You can get one here.
The mint will go live on 27th June. Please visit tab.iheartblob.com.
In the grounds of the Museum of Estonian Architecture, Ahtri 2, 10151 Tallinn, Estonia
We chose the Tezos blockchain as it is environmentally friendly. One NFT mint has the environmental impact equivalent to one tweet. The Tezos community is strong and full of inspiring artists and creators.
